Robert E "Bob" Mann who also goes by REM was born in NYC has always enjoyed drawing and painting. Having spent many years in Hawaii - the ambiance and beauty of color inspired him to go pro and create his own style.
Surrealism and impressionism were his first impulses. The American Indian was a source for inspiration, the picture is a key factor of his technique, this style is called "Trumploy Optical Allusions".
Mr. Mann also was a NYC Public school teacher, and enjoyed teaching American History and still today is an avid history buff and having a conversation with him is a "jewel of historical references of historical facts" and is said to be a walking "trivia" machine when it comes to history.
However when it comes to ART "Bob is The Mann". He may be contacted directly through his email OGREMS1346@GMAIL.COM and some of his work may be seen right here, on www.RemGalleries.com
